Mastering A-pro’s Guided Flow: A SEO-Friendly Content Generation

SEO-Friendly Content Generation with A-pro

At A-pro we hope to bring AI to the seo content world in an intuitive and user friendly manner. We believe that AI should be a tool for people and by people. We looked at the content creation pipeline and developed our tools to automate SEO-friendly content generation. But we still wanted to leave the major decisions and overall authority to the user. This is a human-in-the-loop model that we believe is how AI can best work for your average person. This is best exemplified in our main offering and the primary way you’ll use A-pro’s services our Guided Workflow.

Our Guided Workflow walks you through the process of generating a complete article using our proprietary AI models. By assisting in generating articles, A-pro ensures that teams can keep up with demanding publishing schedules without compromising quality.

In this article we’ll break down the steps within our guided flow. As well as share insights on how to navigate each step.

Step 1: Choose a Topic

On the first page when you click on Guided Flow you’ll be prompted to choose a topic. Enter a relevant topic that not only captures attention but also aligns with current trends.

Below that you’ll enter in keywords that you want the content generator to target. Take a look at this article we wrote regarding keywords for information on how to choose keywords.

A general rule of thumb, you want 3 – 5 keywords that you are targeting. These can be short (e.g. ‘coffee’) or long tail (e.g. best coffee in Buffalo NY) keywords.

Finally enter in information that you want to appear in the article, you can write a summary of the topic or just add in bullet points. The maximum character limit is 2000 for efficiency within our models. Don’t worry you’ll have chances to add or remove information later on. For now just add in the high level information you want to include.

Bellow that we have advanced options where you can tweak the style of the article, language, tone, reading level, and temperature. In this case temperature can be thought of as how creative or precise you’d like the article to be.

Step 2: Create or Choose an Audience

On the next page you’ll be asked to generate a user persona. This is an imagined ideal audience for your article. Under the settings you can input in their occupation, age, gender, household size, income level, and online activity. All of these factors will effect how the model will draft the article you’ll be creating.

Developing a user persona for your target audience can significantly enhance your marketing efforts. This involves compiling demographics and interests to create a clear picture of who you’re addressing. By tailoring your content effectively, you can resonate more deeply with your audience’s needs and preferences.

For example, a persona for tech-savvy marketing professionals might include insights into their affinity for digital tools and collaborative platforms. While this focused approach can foster stronger connections, it’s also essential to remain flexible and open to feedback, ensuring your content evolves alongside your audience’s changing dynamics. Balancing specificity with adaptability can lead to more effective communication and engagement.

Bellow is an example of an outputted user persona with a brief biography along with the kinds of keyword searches this user might be looking for when they come across the finished article.

Step 3: Select Title and Outline

Step 3: Select Title and Outline is where your strategic planning begins to take shape. A-pro will present you a couple of article titles for your draft on the left side of the screen. Note all of these proposed titles are optimized for search engine engagement. On the right it’ll present five outlines for each title for you to choose. Go for the one that most aligns with your goals.

Don’t worry you’ll be able to tweak the outline in the next step if you want to add or remove information.

Step 4: Edit Outline

On the next screen you’ll be presented with the title and outline you chose prior. But on this screen you’ll be able to edit the outline. Click on the ADD OUTLINE SECTION to add a section to the outline. The title of the section will come up as the top level headers of section.

Each section corresponds to a single paragraph with the subheaders representing key points that will be covered within that paragraph. The plus sign by the title of the section will add a subheader while the minus signs by each will remove them. Each section is draggable for changing the order of the paragraphs. And you can remove whole sections by clicking on the X in the right hand corner.

As you tweak the outline, prioritize clarity—each section should be easily digestible and logically connected. While enhancing your outline can lead to a more cohesive piece, it’s important to balance thoroughness with conciseness, avoiding overwhelming your audience with excessive detail. A well-edited outline can serve as a roadmap, guiding both you and your readers through the content seamlessly. Here’s what it looks like if you were to add a new section:

Step 5: Generate Article

Step 5: is where the magic truly happens. Once your outline is established, it’s time to craft your content. On this page A-pro will present the generated content on the right for each section. While on the left you’ll have the same interface as in the prior step to add and remove key points. In the settings you can make the same adjustments as you did in step 1 making it possible to mix and match those settings for each paragraph. This can be helpful when you want to switch from a more conversational tone in an otherwise more academic article for example.

Step 6: Editor

Once you’ve generated your article we leave your article within our built in editor. Of note is our Article SEO Scores on the right hand side along with tools to highlight keywords that you inputted in step 1. Our SEO scores are generated via another set of models that we used in training our generative AI and aim to give a reliable prediction of how well a article with rank in SEO rankings.

At this stage you’ll want to make any final edits and have their impact on your SEO updated on the panel on the right. Once satisfied, you have the option to save or export the article in multiple formats, such as HTML, making integration into your website seamless. If you save your article you’ll be able to come back and make further edits whenever you’d like by selecting the article title on the projects page.
